Creatures of Light
British actor, artist and activist Jim Murray presents a major new collection of paintings that aim to raise awareness of the plight of endangered wild Atlantic salmon in rivers across the UK.
'Creatures of Light' explores Murray’s deep connection to the river and the world that dwells beneath its mythic plane. NextShoot were commissioned to create a series of promotional videos and an exhbition film. We worked with collaborators around the UK to capture footage of the landscapes and salmon, editing into powerful and captivating films which support the show's themes, drawing attention to the threat to these incredible creatures and their habitats.
