When NextShoot tendered to become our video partner to cover the construction of our London HQs, they stood out against the competition. Above all, we felt - and our instincts have been proved correct - that this was a team we could trust over a number of years to safely and considerately capture all the construction milestones of our ambitious project.
In effect this has been a multi-site project, and a truly international project. NextShoot have been required to visit contractors and subcontractors all over the UK, in the USA, Finland, Germany, Spain, Belgium, Japan and China for their filming. They have been required to interface with numerous contractors and subcontractors on Bloomberg’s behalf, representing us in the way we would wish to represent ourselves, and liaising with me - as the overall video project manager and Head of Corporate Communications - on scripts, production editing and graphics.
NextShoot has also been able to respond to the input of various stakeholders in communications and marketing and the senior management team, including Michael Bloomberg, adapting our projects and edits as has been required. The variety of output related to the construction has certainly been impressive as has the quality of the imagery and story-telling.
Capturing video of a construction project of this size and complexity over four years and shaping it into engaging content has been a massive undertaking. It has required a reliable, skilled and well-led production company to oversee the process, and we are delighted that the production company we chose to work with is NextShoot.
