The Brief
Leaders in Life Sciences have been grouping together in hubs around the UK. Sanofi, a leading healthcare company with offices in over 100 countries and 100,000 employees worldwide, was looking to consolidate its Guilford, Maidenhead and Oxford offices into one buidling in the Thames Valley.

Our video agency in London was invited to make a case study video by CBRE’s Advisory & Transaction Services about CBRE’s role in the successful move of their client into an office in the Thames Valley Park near Reading.

The video needed to highlight key points in Sanofi’s brief to CBRE (an investment in a building that fostered great teamwork with an emphasis on wellness) and CBRE’s involvement in different parts of the process (including space saving of 16 per cent by encouraging a move from fixed desking to agile, activity-based work).

The building had been fitted out to a very high standard and so the broll needed to not only support the interview content, such as the emphasis on wellness, but to capture the quality of the office space design and finish.

Our Approach
As with other videos in this video case study series, the first step was to work with CBRE’s marketing team to establish the content for each interviewee in order to tell a compelling narrative which highlighted all of the ways in which CBRE contributed to the successful outcome.

We included interviews with the Managing Director of Sanofi UK, CBRE’s Advisory & Transaction Services, Project Management Team and their Head of Life Sciences.

We recced the location in advance to produce a list of broll shots to capture and, importantly, to get a sense of areas where the interview with Sanofi’s MD could be captured. Interview filming with CBRE was conducted on a separate day in their London offices.
The Results
The 4-5 minute video clearly underlines the value of CBRE’s contribution, in particular their lease management and workspace strategy and how, through providing a single point of contact throughout the process, CBRE could give their client the benefit of continuity and ultimately a cost-effective solution for a collaborative and future-proof office space.

The broll material has a glossy look & feel and the camera is constantly on the move to bring a sense of dynamism to each shot. The long-form video was subtitled and then shorter versions were created for distribution on Social Media platforms.
