The National Gallery


'The National Gallery in London looked for a video supplier to deliver an innovative and engaging Christmas campaign for our YouTube and other Social Media channels. The objective was to create a campaign that captivated our digital audiences - inspiring and engaging no matter their level of art expertise, and also put the Gallery and our collection on the London Christmas map. We chose to work with NextShoot as they demonstrated a clear grasp of the brief and had a track record of delivering strong interview content and stylish visual material.

The results were everything we had hoped for. NextShoot's trailer and four-part Angel Trail video series contained excellent interviews with staff, including the Gallery's Director, beautiful photography and an added layer of graphics to give the content a Christmassy feel and tone. The campaign was a great success, drawing attention to the Gallery and our collection over the festive period, and creating cross-Channel engagement, including over 20,000 watches on YouTube. NextShoot were a pleasure to work with. They delivered on budget, on time and went the extra mile to ensure the campaign was a success. They are highly recommended.'

'LRW commissioned NextShoot to capture and produce a 30 minute video based on 36 two-hour interviews for a brand of luxury car in the USA. The video was designed to showcase the different profiles and attitudes of car buyers and their underlying motivations for car selection.

Over the summer we led workshops for young people which were filmed by NextShoot. 'Acamar Films approached NextShoot to make a 30 minute documentary film charting the backstory of its children's property 'Bing Bunny'. NextShoot understood the brief and worked with Acamar to develop a compelling narrative. They then undertook numerous interviews with the key stakeholders at Acamar, the animation units, the publishers (Harper Collins), the broadcaster (CBeebies) and partners in the United States.

They shaped the editorial content into a compelling film with superb specially shot material (including some memorable sequences with children interacting with the Bing Books and online offer), graphics and animation assets. The choice of music tracks was extremely apt and added style and sentimentality to the programme. NextShoot then created a 10 minute version of the documentary for use in meetings, which has been extremely well received.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this talented outfit. It has been an enormous pleasure working with them on 'It's a Bing Thing'. They've done an outstanding job.'

NextShoot delivered an extremely ambitious 'Food Heroes' project to send a professional photographer to 19 countries (from Vietnam, China and India to Kenya, Egypt, and Turkey, to Spain, Germany, Costa Rica, Argentina and Canada) to meet local farmers and plant scientists working on some of the world's favourite foods.

In total the photographer met, photographed and interviewed 60 protagonists. The photographer adapted, thought on his feet, came up with strong images that matched the brief, while working in some tricky situations and to a tight timetable. NextShoot was responsible for the story research, liaising with the contributors, setting up all the shoots and managing the production. The final images were excellent and will now be used as part of an online campaign called Food Heroes, to tell the story of the unsung heroes behind some of the world's most loved foods.
